Terms and Conditions

As a small, independent organiser of retreats and pilgrimages, we value every booking and the trust you place in us. These Terms and Conditions are intended to clearly outline the practical arrangements, responsibilities, and policies that apply when you book a journey with Just Love Pilgrimage.

USE OF FUNDS

1

Payments received are used to organise and deliver the journey, including arrangements with local partners and service providers.

Any funds left after the costs of organising and running a journey may support Swami Chidananda’s work of sharing spiritual teachings, hosting programmes, travelling, and serving communities around the world.

Payments made to Just Love Pilgrimage are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and are non-negotiable. Just Love Pilgrimage is not responsible for currency exchange fees, foreign transaction fees, or any additional charges imposed by your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor.

Initial Deposit

2

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure your place. This amount will be deducted from your total balance.

FINAL PAYMENT

3

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the journey begins. Our team will send you a payment link and confirm the applicable payment deadline.

If the remaining balance is not received by the stated deadline, we reserve the right to offer your place to another participant on the waiting list. You will be notified if your booking is cancelled for this reason, and your $500 deposit will be forfeited.

CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS

4

The initial $500 deposit is non-refundable.

If you have paid the final balance and need to cancel 40 days or more before the start date, you may transfer the amount paid, excluding the initial deposit, toward another Just Love Pilgrimage journey taking place within the same or following calendar year.

For cancellations made within 40 days of the start date, transfers are no longer permitted and no refunds will be issued.

If you are unable to attend, you may find a replacement participant to take your place, subject to prior approval by our team and any applicable participation requirements.

No refunds or transfers will be provided once a journey has begun, under any circumstances.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect your ability to participate.

Additional COnsiderations

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Each journey includes only the components specifically stated in its description. Unless otherwise specified, airfare, airport transfers, visas, and other travel-related expenses are not included.

Participants are responsible for arranging all necessary travel documentation, including valid passports, visas, vaccinations or immunisations, and any other entry requirements applicable to their destination.

Just Love Pilgrimage cannot be held responsible for travel delays, cancellations, missed connections, denied entry, or other travel-related circumstances beyond our control.

CANCELLATION BY JUST LOVE PILGRIMAGE

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a journey, you will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid directly to Just Love Pilgrimage.

We are unable to reimburse any additional costs incurred independently by participants, including airfare, accommodation, visas, insurance, or other travel or preparation expenses.

CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM

While we make every effort to deliver each journey as described, circumstances may require changes to the programme, schedule, location, accommodation, activities, or facilitators.

Any significant changes will be communicated to participants as soon as reasonably possible.

INSURANCE

Participants are required to have appropriate travel and international medical insurance for the duration of the journey.

Insurance is not included in the quoted price. We recommend that your policy provides adequate cover for medical treatment, cancellation, interruption, baggage, travel delays, and other circumstances relevant to your participation.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Participants are responsible for determining whether a journey is suitable for their individual health and circumstances.

For safety purposes, please inform us during the booking process of any medical conditions, medications, accessibility requirements, or other health-related considerations that may affect your participation.

Where we reasonably determine that a retreat or pilgrimage may not be suitable for you, we reserve the right to decline or cancel your booking. If you have any concerns about your ability to participate, please contact us before booking so that we can discuss your needs.

Meals provided during the journey will be vegetarian and will not include meat or eggs.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements, accessibility needs, and other special requests where possible.

However, such requests cannot always be guaranteed and should be communicated to us as early as possible, ideally during the booking process.

RETREAT CHANGES

While we strive to deliver the program as outlined, unforeseen changes may occur. For example, if a teacher becomes unavailable, we will replace them with an equally qualified facilitator. Any significant changes will be communicated to you as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITY AND PARTICIPANT CONDUCT

Our journeys are intended to provide spaces of respect, safety, presence, and harmony.

There is a strict no-alcohol and no-substance-use policy throughout the journey.

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward teachers, facilitators, local partners, staff, other participants, and the communities we visit.

If a participant behaves in a way that is disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, or significantly affects the wellbeing of others, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the journey. In such circumstances, no refund will be provided and any additional travel or accommodation costs will be the participant’s responsibility.

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to our journeys, operations, or applicable requirements. The most current version will always be available on this page and will apply to future bookings.

Thank you for your understanding, trust, and for helping us create journeys rooted in respect, presence, and mutual care.
