Trip Highlights

Atma Kriya Yoga Meditation

On the pilgrimage, we will have the opportunity to practice Atma Kriya Yoga—an ancient spiritual practice first introduced to the modern world through Autobiography of a Yogi. This sacred technique, given by Swami’s Guru, Paramahamsa Vishwananda, guides the practitioner on a profound inner journey, moving awareness from the restless mind into the stillness of the heart.

To be practice in the Himalayan mountains, surrounded by the powerful spiritual presence of Mahavatar Babaji and the lineage of Kriya yogis, is considered a rare and extraordinary grace—one that may come only after many lifetimes of seeking.

Babaji Cave

Located near the village of Haidakhan in the Kumaon Himalayas and revered as the meditation site of Mahavatar Babaji — the immortal yogi described in yogic tradition, Babaji’s Cave is tucked in a forest above the Gori Ganga valley. Filled with intense spiritual energy and drawing devoted practitioners in search of silence and higher consciousness, Babaji’s Cave is a powerful space for meditation and inner transformation, where the stillness of the Himalayas holds the memory of timeless yogic teachings.

Himalayan mountains

Trekking through the Himalayan mountains is a journey into a realm where earth and spirit feel closely intertwined. Pilgrims walk ancient, time-worn paths once traveled by sages and seekers, moving through untouched landscapes of towering peaks, quiet valleys, and sacred rivers. Along the way, encounters with yogis and wandering ascetics offer moments of deep reflection, as their simple presence embodies centuries of wisdom and devotion.

Badrinath, India

Badrinath is one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India, located in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand along the banks of the Alaknanda River. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and serene natural beauty, the main temple is believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century.

The region has long been regarded as a powerful spiritual retreat, where yogis and sages have meditated for centuries in the quiet solitude of the Himalayas. It is often associated with the mystical presence of Mahavatar Babaji, a revered figure in yogic tradition said to reside in the higher Himalayan realms.

Devaprayaag Confluence

Devprayag is one of the most important and revered confluences in India, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers merge to officially form the sacred Ganga River. Nestled in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand, it is considered a highly auspicious site for spiritual practices, rituals, and meditation.

Many travelers pause here to experience the powerful energy of the river confluence, believed to cleanse and uplift the spirit.

Kainchi Dham

Kainchi Dham is a serene and spiritually charged ashram located near Nainital, founded by the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba in the 1960s. Nestled in the hills and surrounded by forests, it has become a powerful center for devotion, meditation, and service (seva), especially dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

The ashram gained global recognition through Western devotees like Ram Dass, who was a close disciple of Neem Karoli Baba.
